Mississauga’s success has also attracted investments from the federal government, including a National Research Council (NRC) facility, a $25 million state-of-the-art innovation hub for advanced materials innovation and commercialization. It’s a prime location where people can meet and take their business concept to the next level. The facility is set to open in fall 2019.

Mississauga is also home to the Xerox Research Centre of Canada, Research Innovation Commercialization (RIC) Centre, GreenCentre Canada, and the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), all that are dedicated to helping start-up companies scale up and grow.
