A Marketplace with a Mission

The Refugee Marketplace, launched by Jumpstart Refugee Talent, is Canada’s first national platform celebrating refugee entrepreneurship. Featuring a curated selection of handmade products such as chocolates, handicrafts, clothing, and luxury perfume, the marketplace empowers refugee business owners to connect with new customers and expand their markets.

The Refugee Marketplace is a game-changer for small businesses like mine, and I’m excited to be part of this initiative.

– Nesreen Abosultan, founder and CEO of Wud Chocolates and Gifts

Launched with free shipping in time for the holiday season, this innovative platform offers shoppers a chance to support refugee entrepreneurs while discovering unique gifts. Beyond sales, Jumpstart provides coaching and mentorship, ensuring vendors receive the tools to succeed.

Currently showcasing a handful of vendors, the marketplace highlights the creativity, resilience, and economic contributions of refugees in Canada. Each purchase fosters small business growth, strengthens communities, and shares cultural heritage.

It’s an opportunity to expand our reach, create sustainable products, and highlight the entrepreneurial contributions of refugees to Canada’s economy.
